Azurar Consultants provides project management and technical consultancy. The company has customers in the telecom and IT sectors. Azurar Consultants was established in 1993, when its founding director Simon Tarling moved from British Telecom. 

The company has two main focuses, with one underlining goal, to provide absolute quality as measured by the customer. The first focus is on providing solid programme and project management backed by over 20 years of experience in managing multi-million pound projects. Projects range from delivery of telecoms and datacomms solutions, to relocation of businesses. The second focus is on providing technical advice and guidance to senior managers and board members.

The company's customers included, Mercury Communications Plc (part of Cable & Wireless communications since 1997), South Western Bell, Telewest Plc, Hewlett Packard, NTL Ltd. plus a number of smaller organisations, across the United Kingdom, continental Europe and Scandinavia.
